“PAY TO PARK” SIGNS GOING UP THIS WEEK IN AREAS OF LA CROSSE

Written by on May 23, 2019

So…it’s happening. The signs are going up and soon you will have to pay by the hour for parking on certain streets in La Crosse. You’ll use your smartphone to pay via an app called Passport Parking. You can also pay online. I actually went through the process of setting up an account for myself, just to check it out, and it was fairly simple. Of course, I haven’t tried actually paying for parking yet…so we’ll see how that goes when the time comes. Can we expect this will progress to more streets? How will it all work? We’re curious, and we’re sure you are also!

Below is the official public notice from the City of La Crosse Police Department that was posted on Facebook.
