BURN BOOT CAMP TRAINER HEATHER BURKE SHARES BREAST CANCER STORY

Burn Boot Camp has locations in Holmen and La Crosse, with the mission to impact lives through transformative fitness and empower communities. They have a special discount rate to join this fall, but we want to start with something that’s important to them: breast cancer research and support programs. They’re looking forward to Steppin’ Out in Pink as much as we are; supporting local research and patients at Emplify by Gundersen through their event September 12, 2026.

Heather Burke has been a trainer at Holmen’s Burn location for 3 years, and a member for 7. She also is an employee of Emplify and received a breast cancer diagnosis two years ago, just after qualifying for finals of the Burn Boot Camp Athlete Games. Hear how she was still able to compete, why she’s grateful for her care team, the Burn community, and the ability to move her body:

You’re invited to join the Burn Boot Camp team for Steppin’ Out in Pink and you’re also invited to try out the workouts, and community, in La Crosse or Holmen with a 4 week membership for $69. Burn offers 45-minute camps with highly innovative daily programming, Burn Boot Camp provides exclusive Childwatch services, allowing families to work out together. Modifications really personalize the experience for folks who are pregnant, or post-partem and offer accommodations to any injuries or limitations that you may have. Every camp has one-on-one opportunities with the trainers to help you maximize your experience while minimizing strains on your body.
