UGLY SWEATER 5K 2023

Join Rotary Club of La Crosse-After Hours Saturday, December 2, 2023 for The 17th Annual Ugly Sweater 5k!
The Ugly Sweater 5K is not just a race; it’s an experience.
It is a family-friendly festive, holiday-themed event in La Crosse, as well as a competitive race for those looking for one.
Participants will traverse beautifully lit paved trails, starting from Myrick Park at 4:15pm and culminating at the Riverside Park Rotary Lights display, featuring over three million dazzling holiday lights. After the run/walk, participants can join in the fun with our ugly sweater contest, live music, and refreshments.
A post-race award ceremony is held in the Ice Castle (heated tent) at Rotary Lights with hot chocolate, music and tasty treats for participants, family, and friends.

The Ugly Sweater 5k is the primary fundraiser for the Rotary of La Crosse-After Hours Club (RAH). As a proud part of Rotary International, their club is dedicated to supporting local and international community service projects.
One of their recent local initiatives involved providing funding for the purchase of a greenhouse at Northside Elementary in La Crosse. Their club plans to volunteer our time and effort when the greenhouse arrives to help build it. Additionally, they’ve been actively involved in serving food for Monday Meals at Trinity Lutheran Church, volunteering at local events, and delivering food for Mobile Meals. They are also committed to contributing to Rotary International’s mission to eradicate polio worldwide. These are just a few highlights showcasing the vibrancy of their club’s activities.
