JON RECTOR BENEFIT

September 26, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm CDT

Support Jon Rector and his family at a benefit Saturday September 26, 2020 from 3pm-8pm at The Onalaska Legion in the Pole Barn behind the main building.

There will be a Chicken Q, fish bowl basket raffles (a TON of them thanks to our generous donors), pull tabs, tip boards, gun raffle, buy a square for bigger items, a DJ playing music and much more!

Safety: We are in a giant pole barn that has big doors that open up all the way around it. There will be plenty of room to socially distance and fresh air flowing through all day. We will have hand sanitizer as well as people who will be sanitizing surfaces throughout the day. The line for the basket fish bowl raffle will be one way only and people will be encouraged to socially distance while browsing the baskets. You do not need to be present to win anything. The Chicken Q (provided by Pogy’s Catering) will be available to sit down and eat or to drive through to pick up.

Chicken Q tickets are available ahead of time or at the event for $9, and they are also selling raffle tickets.

More of Jon’s story:

Jon Rector is a Holmen, WI resident who was diagnosed with Diffused Large B Cell non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma on September 18th, 2019. Prior to his diagnosis, Jon put in long 60-80 hour work weeks at Pomp’s Tires on La Crosse’s Northside. He worked hard to support his wife Ashley and his three daughters, Karlee, Emily and Harper without ever complaining. After his diagnosis, he was on very strict work restrictions that prevented him from doing the parts of his job that made the family the most income. His immune system was compromised from the chemotherapy, and due to the COVID risk, Jon was not able to work his normal duties or hours at his job. Jon’s wife, Ashley, is a stay at home mom who also runs a salon and bakery business out of their home. Jon has since completed chemo and is back to work; however, being out for so long, and with medical bills piling up, a benefit would really help them get a little more caught up!
