LIVE STREAM THE NORTHERN LIGHTS!

Written by on March 23, 2020

Seeing the Northern Lights in person has been on my bucket list forever. They’re beautiful and such an amazing phenomenon! They’re usually visible year round but late fall through early spring are the best time to see the show, since that’s when the sky is the darkest. This was one of many things my wife and I were planning to do this spring on our honeymoon, which has obviously now been cancelled. Knowing we can watch it every night live certainly isn’t as cool as in person, but it’s pretty close!

Explore.org and Polar Bears International are live streaming the northern lights from the Churchill Northern Studies Center in Manitoba, Canada. They’re at their best during the darkest point of the night and far away from the city. You can stream it live HERE! Honestly, even the daytime stream is pretty soothing… and you can back up the live video to see last night’s show.
