EWAN MCGREGOR IS CAPTIVATING AS ‘HALSTON’ IN NEW NETFLIX SERIES

I personally don’t know much about the American fashion designer, Halston, but I know that Ewan McGregor‘s adaptation is captivating!

Roy Halston Frowick, more commonly known as Halston, was an American fashion designer who became an international sensation in the 1970s. According to Wikipedia, Halston achieved great fame after designing the pillbox hat Jacqueline Kennedy wore to her husband’s presidential inauguration in 1961, and when he moved to designing women’s wear, Newsweek dubbed him “the premier fashion designer of all America.” It seems Halston had an extremely successful career, but the road to the top was more of a rollercoaster ride.

The Netflix seriesHalston starts May 14th. The amazing Ryan Murphy is executive producer, and the series is directed by Daniel Minahan, who has directed episodes of Grey’s Anatomy, Game of Thrones and many others. Check out the trailer (warning…quite a few f-bombs in it). But wow, when I watched this…I was 100% locked in, and I can’t wait to watch.

You got sucked in too, didn’t you?! Told you it looked good! Not one to watch with the kiddos around, but definitely worth adding it to your queue for after bedtime.
