LOCAL TEEN, TRINITY HORSTMAN, HOSTING GOLF TOURNAMENT FOR CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK

Written by on July 12, 2021

Trinity Horstman is from Holmen, WI and is the current Miss Whispering Pines Outstanding Teen. As part of the Miss America Scholarship Program, it’s important that participants support a worthy cause as part of their community outreach. Trinity has chosen to hold an 18 hole golf scramble at Coulee Golf Bowl on Monday July 26th. Funds will benefit the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

We were able to chat with Trinity about the upcoming golf tournament and her involvement in the Miss America Scholarship Program.

As the event website states, “Making Miracles Happen golf outing is supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, particularly our own Gundersen Health System . CMNH has touched my family’s life in many ways. When my older sister was born, she had to stay in the hospital for an extra few days due to being jaundice.  Children’s Miracle Network stepped in and helped my parents by giving them meal vouchers so that they could stay near her and eat at the hospital at no charge. This might seem like a small thing, but for a young family just starting out, this meant a lot to my parents.” Read more here.

The goal is to raise $5,000 for Children’s Miracle Network this year and they hope you’ll join in on the fun!  Be a part of the golf tournament to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals! Click Here to sign up!
