Gundersen Health System’s Minutes in Motion is a FREE six-week community physical activity challenge. Track and record your 30 minutes of physical activity each day. Reach this goal at least five days per week and be qualified to win great prizes. All activity counts! Yard work, dancing, playing with your kids. There are so many ways to get moving. The challenge runs from Monday, April 1 through Sunday, May 12.
McKenna Schmidt, a wellness education specialist from Gundersen Health System, joined us to share the exciting information for Minutes in Motion 2024!

Click the link below to get started. Here are a couple of things to know:
1- Visit the Minutes in Motion website.
2- Scroll down to “Register here” and then click on either “Community Members” or “Gundersen Employees”, whichever applies to you.
3- This is no longer a “team” challenge. You are registering as an individual. They have a new portal for Minutes in Motion called Virgin Pulse. There is also an app to download to track your steps with your linked fitness tracker!

April 3 is National Walking Day. Grab your co-workers, friends, kids, and dogs, or head out solo for a walk. Take a picture and tag #MIMWalkingDay on social media for a chance to win fun prizes.
WIN PRIZES!
- Complete 30 minutes of physical activity each day, for at least 30 days of the six-week challenge for a shot at the $500 grand prize! *Tracking must be completed by May 15.
- To qualify for weekly $50 prizes, meet the goal of five days each week with 30 minutes of activity and track this on the wellness portal by midnight on Monday.
- *Prizes are reported as taxable income.
