RACING FOR ABILITIES KENTUCKY DERBY FUNDRAISER

Ability Building Community – ABC has been providing services for individuals with disabilities through community inclusion since 1956! Their programs need funding, so they’re having a big fundraiser at Time Out Tavern!
Sammie Sherry, Program Manager at Woodland Industries in Caledonia, joined the Buzz to talk about what they do and the fun details for the event:
Giddy up over to TimeOut Tavern in La Crescent for Racing for Abilities – a Kentucky Derby Fundraiser that benefits individuals with disabilities in Houston County!
– Silent Auction
– Live Auction
– Raffles (including a Gun Raffle)
– Hat Contest – Come dressed to impress in your finest Derby hat for a chance to win!
The event is free to attend or you can buy advance wristbands for $10, $15 day of, that include a refreshing Mint Julep, access to their Derby Buffet, and entry into a raffle.
It’s going to be the mane event of the season – full of charm, fast bids, and some good ol’ fashioned fun. So throw on your best bowtie or fascinator and pony up for a great cause!
Proceeds will directly benefit a variety of recreation and work opportunities in the community through Ability Building Community – ABC.
