CAMP SEND A KID

Camp Send a Kid (CSAK) is a non-profit organization that aims to get children between the ages of 8-12 yrs outdoors and enjoying the fresh air! They run a one week summer camp for children in the Greater La Crosse area who have never been to camp before or do not have the means or opportunity to go to any other summer camps. Kids learn about nature and archery, as well as get to try out fishing, canoeing, and hiking! The communities DARE and GREAT officers love coming out to have a blast with the kids while also giving a short session on a topic important to the community.

Officer Jo, Student Resource Officer at La Crosse Central High, stopped in to the Morning Buzz to talk about Camp, how kids can apply and encourage donations to the program:
