LCPD SGT. DANNY ON FIREWORKS SAFETY

The City of La Crosse Police Department and the La Crosse Fire Department are teaming up on an initiative highlighting fireworks safety. This year’s “Bucket Brigade” encourages using a bucket or water source to put out fireworks. If you upload a pic to their social, you could win a visit from a fire truck!

But what fireworks are legal and illegal? What is the fine for illegal fireworks? La Crosse Police Department Sgt. Danny Mandujano joined the Morning Buzz to answer those questions and talk about other reasons it’s not a good idea in the city:
