VICKI NICHOLS – OWNER OF SPARTA CINEMA 6

The love of community and movies is what makes Sparta Cinema 6 special for Vicki Nichols. She was the manager of the theater for 21 years and April 1, 2022 she officially became the owner of the independent theater. Vicki joined the Buzz, and brought some of their AMAZING popcorn, to talk about why she became an owner, how they support our community, and their popcorn’s secret ingredient:

Not only a big hit in Sparta, lots of folks come from Holmen and West Salem, because it’s closer than driving to the South Side of La Crosse, and cheaper!

They have great specials on Mondays and Fridays, plus Fridays Vicki makes homemade baked goods, including their new Peanut Butter Bon Bons!! They also sell those giant bags of popcorn to go for just $15. Great for parties and weddings, just give a call to order ahead so they’re fresh!
