Neighbors Day is the annual, city-wide event to help our neighbors get their yards ready for spring. Volunteers team up April 25, 2026 to rake leaves, trim shrubs, and build community in La Crosse.
Natalie Heneghan, Community Outreach Director for Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse Region, came in to tell us how easy and fun it is to get involved:
They’re looking for 500 volunteers of all ages this year to help 200 households. You do not need supplies, tools, or any prior experience! You can sign up as a team, group, or individual and everyone gets doughnuts and a Chicken Q 😉
