In May 2019 Jennifer French was feeling tired and sluggish, she knew something was wrong. She saw her doctor, went through a series of tests, including a colonoscopy. Her lab results were abnormal, colonoscopy revealed a mass in her colon, and imaging showed masses in her lymph nodes and appendix. Ultimately, she had surgery to remove all the cancerous masses along with her uterus and appendix. She will require chemotherapy for the next 6 months at minimum, multiple medical visits and tests; she will be unable to work during this time.

Jen has been a Registered Nurse for 13 years. Her passion lies in Critical Care and in the Emergency Room serving those in our community with the greatest need. She is dedicated and caring to her patients and everyone around her. Jen is a mother to Hallie, about to be married to her fiance Aaron, and step-mother to Andrew.. She enjoys being active in her community and loves to hike and be outside. Jen is only 38, and in August 2016, she selflessly donated a kidney.
Her fiance Aaron and her family have had to and will continue to take time off work to help care for her during chemotherapy treatments and recovery.
