THE LIBRARY HAS NEW SPACES, FRIENDLY FACES, TOOLS, AND EVEN PERIMENOPAUSE EVENTS

Written by on April 24, 2026

The La Crosse Public Library is just the best. If you didn’t know, now you do. They recently remodeled, adding more spaces for public use, and have so many free programs, in addition to the resources and activities that most people know about them.

The library is partnering with Planned Parenthood for conversation on perimenopause—featuring documentary screening and engaging discussions with local experts! Erin Raymus from Planned Parenthood stopped in with Brooke, Annie, and Paisley from the La Crosse Public Library to talk about this event and SO many more things the Library does for our community.

You can check out more information on the La Crosse Public Library at their website as well as the entire Winding Rivers System. Learn more about Kanopy, where we mentioned you can watch the BALANCE series, and other digital resources, the Tool and Things Librarys, how to reserve a space (including the Telehealth Room), check out their Create Lab, events and so much more HERE!

You can celebrate the culmination of National Library Week by using their services, volunteering, donating, or becoming a member of the Friends of the La Crosse Library. It’s only $15 a year for an individual or #30 for a family, and an excellent way to support!

Follow them on Instagram and Facebook for fun updates!
