GEMINID METEOR SHOWER PEAKS THIS WEEKEND!

Earlier this week, we were teased with the opportunity to see the Northern Lights. While we ended up not seeing them, those that ventured out were able to see some meteors. This weekend, the Geminid Meteor shower will peak and it’s being touted as the best of 2020!

Sky lovers should be able to see them the next few nights and they’re predicted to peak Sunday evening. As always, the further you can get from town, and light pollution, the better the show. The new moon Monday morning will make for the best opportunity to see the most meteors since the moon will have very little light to block the meteors.
