Written by on December 24, 2020

I love Christmas so much. Everything about the holiday season makes me incredibly happy. I love decorating my house for Christmas. In fact, I decorate for Christmas on November 1st every year! And one of my most favorite things to do is watch Christmas movies. Here is a list of my top holiday faves, in no particular order, and where to find them!

  • National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (rent on Amazon Prime)
  • Elf (Hulu)
  • Home Alone and Home Alone 2 (Disney+)
  • A Christmas Story (Hulu)
  • The Grinch (the one with Jim Carrey, on Netflix)
  • Noelle (Disney+)
  • Jingle Jangle (Netflix)
  • Santa Clause 1, 2, and 3 (Disney+)
  • Bad Moms Christmas (for the adults, on Netflix)
  • Christmas with the Kranks (Hulu)
  • Prancer (rent on Amazon Prime)
  • The Nightmare Before Christmas (Disney+)
  • Babes in Toyland (the one from 1986 on Amazon Prime)
  • Edward Scissorhands (Hulu & Amazon Prime)
  • The Polar Express (Amazon Prime)
  • Miracle on 34th Street (the one from 1947, on Disney+)
  • Office Christmas Party (for the adults, rent on Amazon Prime)
  • It’s a Wonderful Life (Amazon Prime)
  • Four Christmases (Amazon Prime)
  • The Holiday (Hulu)
  • Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (Hulu with live TV subscription)
  • Frosty the Snowman (purchase on iTunes or Vudu)
  • A Charlie Brown Christmas (Apple TV)
  • The Preacher’s Wife (rent on Amazon Prime)
  • The Family Man (Amazon Prime)
  • Just Friends (rent on Amazon Prime)
  • Gremlins (Amazon Prime)

Those are the favorites off the top of my head. I guarantee there are more! I’m also loving everything on the Hallmark Channel, and Lifetime is running Christmas movies now too. They’re the best because, spoiler, they all end happily ever after. That’s why I love them! I also just read a study that suggests watching Christmas movies through-out the year will increase your happiness, and potentially help you live longer. At this rate, I’m immortal! 🙂 I hope you enjoy some of my suggestions.
