UCLA GYNMAST NAILS ANOTHER INSPIRING ROUTINE!

Written by on January 25, 2021

This woman is unstoppable, and her routines are so fun and inspiring!

The UCLA women’s gymnastics team faced off against the Arizona State Sun Devils on Saturday, January 23. College senior, Nia Dennis nailed her floor routine, which included more nods to black culture, as she’s become popular for in past routines.

The video has gained over five million views on Twitter. The UCLA Gymnastics shared it on Twitter with the caption: “This is what #blackexcellence looks like. @DennisNia does it again!”

Her routine scored a 9.950 out of 10. Dang! I’d say that’s definitely excellence. A lot of celebrities acknowledged Nia’s skills on social media, including the most decorated gymnast of all time, Simone Biles. Missy Elliott and others shared their praise as well.

CNN has the full story. “This routine definitely reflects everything that I am today as a woman and of course I had to incorporate a lot of parts of my culture,” Dennis told Los Angeles Daily News. “I wanted to have a dance party because that’s my personality and of course I had to shout out LA because we out here, UCLA.” She’s got mad skills and the drive to inspire all of us!
