This week, even more residents became eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. Like you, we have some questions on who can receive it and the concern about vaccine side effects. We checked in with Rachel King, a Health Educator with the La Crosse County Health Department, to get some answers!

March 22nd opened up the next group of eligible people: individuals 16 and older with certain medical conditions that have a greater risk of severe infection from COVID-19 will be eligible. You can check your eligibility HERE!

How to get connected to the vaccine in La Crosse County

·DHS Community Clinic at the UWL Cleary Alumni Building site is open from Tuesday-Saturday from 11am-7pm. To register and schedule an appointment, CLICK HERE and/or call the health department at 608-785-6240 or the State Call Center 1-844-684-1064. (toll free)
