LISTEN: TOMAH NATIVE NATHAN DEMING ON FILM WINTER HYMNS OPENING AT SPARTA CINEMA THIS FRIDAY

Winter Hymns is the second feature film for Nathan Deming, but he’s made a lot of cool stuff in his career already. He grew up listening to Z93 in Tomah and is now based out of LA. He wrote and directed Winter Hymns that recently sold out at the Wisconsin Film Festival.

The film centers on a palliative care doctor (played by Colleen Madden who you may have seen on stage in Spring Green, WI) meeting with a series of patients nearing the end of their lives and their families on a cold winter day in Wisconsin. The film features numerous other actors from Wisconsin and you can see it this week at Sparta Cinema 6! There’s two showings a day May 15-20. You can see showtimes and buy tickets HERE.
