‘DEAR EVAN HANSEN’: WATCH THE TRAILER FOR BEN PLATT’S MUSICAL MOVIE

My 16-year-old niece is a big fan of ‘Dear Evan Hansen‘ the Broadway musical, so I can only imagine she’ll be super pumped for this! Universal has released the first trailer for the “Dear Evan Hansen” the musical movie, hitting theaters on Sept. 24.
Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award winner Ben Platt plays the lead character, Evan Hansen. Evan is an anxious and isolated high school kid who’s struggling to find his place in life but is overwhelmed with the craziness and cruelty of social media. He begins writing letters to himself and Evan’s classmate, Connor, gets a hold of one of his letters and dies by suicide with the note in his pocket. You can imagine the rollercoaster that comes next.
The music is fantastic, the plot is captivating, and the movie cast is pretty huge! “Dear Evan Hansen stars six-time Oscar® nominee Amy Adams, Oscar® winner Julianne Moore, Kaitlyn Dever (Booksmart), Amandla Stenberg (The Hate U Give), Colton Ryan (Apple TV+’s Little Voice), Nik Dodani (Netflix’s Atypical), DeMarius Copes (Broadway’s Mean Girls) and Danny Pino (NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit).”
I’ll add this to the list of things to do with my niece…good bonding time!
