It’s cold outside, and you’re looking for something new to watch. I’ve got a few shows coming up that you might want to check out!

The Real Dirty Dancing on Fox– Eight celebrities will attempt to recreate the legendary lift and other dance moves from 1987’s “Dirty Dancing” in Fox’s new celebrity dance competition, “The Real Dirty Dancing.” Stephen “tWitch” Boss, an All-Star and judge on Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance,” will host the series, airing on Tuesdays starting February 1 on FOX.

According to The Wrap, “The Real Dirty Dancing features celebrities reliving the classic film’s most memorable dance moments in hopes of becoming champions and the next “Baby” and “Johnny.” The eight celebrities competing are: entrepreneur, philanthropist, author, and WWE Hall of Fame Inductee Brie Bella; actor, singer/songwriter, and dancer Corbin BleuThe Bachelorette runner-up Tyler Cameron; world-renowned chef, author, restaurateur, and the first female Iron Chef Cat Cora; Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough; future NFL Hall of Fame Tight End Antonio Gates; comedian, singer, actor, and social media sensation Anjelah Johnson-Reyes; and comedian and The Real host Loni Love.

America’s Got Talent Extreme– The show will run for 4 weeks, 2-hour episodes, beginning Monday, February 21 on NBC. The spin-off of the summer hit series “America’s Got Talent” was largely shot in September and October, but production was suspended after British escape artist Jonathan Goodwin severely injured himself during rehearsal at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton.

According to TVLine, “Extreme contestants will vie for a chance to win a $500,000 prize and the title of… well, the champion of America’s Got Talent: Extreme. Series creator Simon Cowell will serve as judge alongside WWE superstar Nikki Bella and motocross and rally car driver Travis Pastrana., while AGT host Terry Crews will fill that same role on Extreme.”

American Song Contest- Starting Monday, March 21 on NBC, American Song Contest will air for eight weeks, with a finale on May 9. The show was originally set to launch on Monday, Feb. 21 but was pushed back.

Variety explains the concept for American Song Contest; ”the series travels across the country, finding song writers and performers in all 50 states, five U.S. territories and the District of Columbia to compete.” “On the show, a solo artist, duo or a band will represent each location and perform a new original song. The live competition consists of three rounds as the acts compete in a series of qualifying rounds, followed by the semi finals and the ultimate finale, where a winner will be named.” And yes, you get to vote for your favorite!
