ROBERT IRWIN HAS CLOSE CALL WITH CROCODILE – CRIKEY!

Written by on February 9, 2022

Like many, I loved watching Steve Irwin and his wild adventures. Sadly, in 2006, while filming a documentary in Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, Irwin died after being pierced in the chest by a short-tail stingray. He was only 44, leaving behind two kids, Bindi and Robert, and his wife, Terri. Today, they follow in Steve’s footsteps with some wild adventures of their own.

During the season finale of ‘Crikey! It’s the Irwins’, on Animal Planet and streaming on Discovery+, Robert Irwin had a close call with a 12-foot crocodile! In a recent chat with ET, “the 18-year-old son of ‘Crocodile Hunter’ star Steve Irwin said, “it was the first time I ever actually had to completely ditch the food, run and jump over a fence while there was a croc right at my heels!” Never in a million years could I do what they do!
