KRISTEN BELL, BILLY PORTER, AND TONS MORE TO HELP RAISE MONEY FOR UKRAINE DURING THIS WEEKEND’S ‘STARS IN THE HOUSE’

Written by on March 25, 2022

Stars in the House started at the beginning of the pandemic as a way to raise money for The Actors Fund, raising over $50,000 in their first 4 days! They did daily live shows that included interviews with stars from home, music, community issues, and education. Their next show will be their biggest to date, raising money for another important cause.

A celebrity-packed 10-hour Stars in the House telethon raising money for the International Rescue Committee and their humanitarian efforts for those affected by the war in Ukraine is happening this weekend! The line-up includes Hollywood and Broadway stars like Ben Stiller, Kristin Bell, Steve Martin, Josh Groban, John Stamos, Tituss Burgess, Kristin Chenoweth, Billy Porter, Cynthia Nixon, Laurie Metcalf, and a TON more.

Plus, there will be a new SCTV reunion of Martin Short, Catherine O’Hara, Eugene Levy and Andrea Martin!

In addition to the celebrity guests singing and reading donations, the event will also feature Ukrainian citizens who will be speaking and performing, including Ukrainian actor Oleg Karpenko, the Ukrainian theater and film actor who co-starred with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky in Servant of The People (currently available on Netflix).

There’s a preview on their YouTube channel tonight and the big show starts tomorrow at 11 am Central.
