Support Justin’s Fight Against AML
Written by Ballzer on August 6, 2026
Justin Meil was diagnosed with (AML) Acute myeloid leukemia this summer. On July 23rd, Justin and his family celebrated his 17th birthday at the hospital, days after starting chemo. His first round of chemo and tests will last a month and he needs to stay in the hospital for all his treatments, lumbar punctures and biopsies. Justin has to do at least 4 or 5 rounds of chemo with each round lasting about a month each round depending on how he responds and most likely he needs to be in the hospital the whole time.
His family posted on their GoFundMe Page, “right now Justin is doing good we are staying positive! Justin is so strong he is ready for the fight of his life! Taking one day at a time! We have been trying to spend as much time at the hospital as we can with him. We are going back and forth from the hospital to home to take care of our two other kids, having to take time off work for his treatment’s and procedures.
“This year he will be a senior and as of right now he will not be able to get to go to school and be with his friends he will be doing online school from the hospital as tolerated. So if anyone could send prayers, well wishes and donations to help us make it through this difficult time we would greatly appreciate it! All the support and help will help us with medical bills, traveling back and forth, lost of income and anything else Justin will need!”
