Many people are lucky to have a family to spend the holidays with. Others are not so lucky, or may not want to spend time with their family. No judgment. Spending the holidays with your “chosen family”, though, sounds like a pretty good time! You can stay in or go out. If you stay in, here are some fun ideas to make your Friendsgiving celebration extra special!
Breakfast and Bubbly- Make it a brunch celebration with yummy mimosas and breakfast. This could be typical breakfast items, or maybe you’re making a Thanksgiving themed brunch. That’s up to you what’s on the menu! Everyone brings a dish to pass.
Make it Fancy- Maybe use placecards or your fancy dishes to make this event more fancy and boujee! Your friends are awesome, and so you are. Treat yo self to a beautiful place setting for Friendsgiving!
Charcuterie- Make it a charcuterie celebration. No need to stress over cooking a full traditional Thanksgiving meal. Have everyone choose a theme, and bring charcuterie boards! My friends and I recently did this (just on a random Saturday) but we had a blast, ate all day, and enjoyed it so much!

Decorate! Use fun signs or decorations to mark the occasion, and for photo-ops, of course!
Dress Up– Dress up, matching outfits, jammies. Pick a fun theme and have everyone participate!
