JOHN LEGEND RELEASING SKIN CARE LINE FOR MELANIN-RICH SKIN

John Legend is launching a melanin-focused skincare and body care brand, Loved01 (pronounced “loved one”) on February 1. The line has been in the works for a year and a half. In a recent interview with Essence, John said, “My career has been all about love, and love is so important to who I am. Love is also important when you think about self-care because it expresses love for yourself and the loved ones around you. And we felt this brand was about self-love and sharing it with your loved ones and how that self-care ritual is often shared; it’s communal; within your family, you may be standing at the sink together in front of the mirror. It’s part of how you bond with the people you love”.
Essence also reports, “Loved01 was founded and designed to address the need for more inclusivity in the skincare market and to prioritize the needs of melanin-rich skin with dermatologist-approved products at affordable prices.” John says this has been the plan for the skincare brand “so everyone can experience the joy of beautiful and healthy skin.”
Most of the products range “from $10-$15, available on February 1st through Loved01.com, CVS stores nationwide, and CVS.com“. There will also be a launch at “select Walmart stores and at Walmart.com in March 2023.” Learn more here!
