TRADER JOE’S RECIPES

Trader Joe’s is my favorite grocery store and it’s only an hour away in Rochester, Mn! I love making a day trip there once a month to stock up on my favorite specialty items. I thought it would be fun to share three easy but delicious recipes that I have been loving!

Trader Joe’s Stir Fry 
Ingredients:

1lb Chicken Breasts 
1/2 Red Bell Pepper
1/2 Yellow Bell Pepper
1 Onion Diced
2 Cups Broccoli Florets 
2 Garlic Cloves Minced 
1/2 Cup Carrots Diced
Trader Joe’s Stir Fry Sauce

Directions-
1.) Start by cutting the chicken into cubes. Then I’m a large skillet cook the chicken on medium-high heat and season with salt and pepper and a little olive oil. Cook chicken until lightly browned for 4-5 minutes and then set aside.  

2.) Add a splash of oil and then sauté the bell pepper, onion, carrots, and broccoli until tender. 

3.) Add the chicken back in, add garlic, and whisk in the Trader Joe’s stir-fry sauce. 

4.) Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, and let it boil for one minute! 

5.) Serve with rice and enjoy! 


Trader Joe’s Salsa Verde Chicken

Ingredients: 

2 Chicken Breasts 

1 Jar Salsa Verde Chicken

 1 4oz Can Green Chilies 

Directions-
1.) Start by cutting the chicken into cubes. Then I’m a large skillet cook the chicken on medium-high heat and season with salt and pepper and a little olive oil. Cook chicken until lightly browned for 4-5 minutes and then set aside.
