UPGRADES TO LAMBEAU FIELD SCOREBOARDS ARE UNDERWAY

Written by on April 4, 2023

Well I guess one advantage of not making the playoffs this season is more time for improvements to Lambeau.

Work is currently underway at 1265 Lombardi in Green Bay as new, larger video boards are being installed. There will be 4K boards at both the north and south ends of the stadium.

This marks the first time in ten years improvements will be made to the scoreboards.

According to Fox 11 in Green Bay:

Work on these upgrades actually began last offseason, when structural improvements needed to be completed inside the stadium first. “They’ve grown from 110 feet by 48 feet to 220 feet by 48 feet,” said Mike Moynihan, the Packers’ director of facility operations. The Packers explained how wear and tear on the boards and the availability of new technology led to the decision to upgrade — a project that’s being funded by the organization’s most recent stock sale.

There it is. The next time someone gives you grief about you being a Packers Owner, you can just point to the scoreboard…literally.
