B.L.A.C.K.’S BLACK AND GOLD FUNDRAISING PARTY IS THIS SATURDAY

Black Leaders Acquiring Collective Knowledge Inc. is hosting their 2nd Annual Black & Gold Fundraising Party this Saturday, April 22, at Maple Grove Venues in West Salem. The event goes from 6:30 – 11 pm.

B.L.A.C.K. co-founder and Executive Director, Shaundel Spivey, joined us to talk about their programs and the event:

Attend in your best Black & Gold attire to help fundraise! Be ready to eat good food, dance to live music from Mayfield Experience & DJ DK, bid on prizes & celebrate as you raise funds to continue their La Crosse area community programming.

This is a 21+ event – NA options available as well. A free, optional La Crosse Safe shuttle, to the venue & back is provided.

Take the Safe Shuttle!
Leaves La Crosse for MGV @ 6pm & 7pm
– Southside pick up : 212 11th St. S, REACH building parking lot; off street parking
– Northside pick up: Logan High School ; off street parking
Return from MGV to La Crosse north & south locations @ 9:30 pm, 10:30 pm,
& 11 pm.

The Party Proceeds Go To B.L.A.C.K. Programs, specifically:
– The Annual Week Long Student Summer Experience Trip
– Runaway & Homeless Youth Crisis Support & Mentorship
– Cultural Tours & Community Programs
– Black Community Base-building & Networking
