The La Crosse Warming Center provides a warm place to sleep for members of our community that are experiencing homelessness. Catholic Charities Warming Center in Downtown La Crosse is one of the many programs that Catholic Charities offers. They house and feed 30-40 unsheltered individuals per night, November 1 – April 30.

They are always seeking volunteers and donations, in the form of meals, monetary donations, or items. Their biggest need right now is men’s waterproof gloves and sweatpants. They would also love scrubs, used for sleeping so design isn’t important – donate your gently used goofy scrubs, too! They also always need blankets and men’s warm clothing, boots and shoes, and socks. Item donations can be made at the Warming Center most days between 8a- 7p at 413 S. 3rd St. in downtown La Crosse.

Thanks to our sponsors, Optical Fashions and River Valley Remodelers, Zcare was able to team up with  95.7 The Rock’s Rock Foundation to provide supper right before Thanksgiving.
