Fitting In is a comedy-drama film written and directed by Molly McGlynn. Molly’s film draws inspiration from her real-life experience of being diagnosed with Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome at 16 years old.

The movie’s synopsis: “A joyful, comedic drama, from writer/director Molly McGlynn, Fitting In is a coming-of-age story that follows 16-year-old Lindy (Maddie Ziegler) who is unexpectedly diagnosed with a reproductive condition, MRKH syndrome. The diagnosis upends her plans to have sex, her presumptions about womanhood and sexuality, her relationship with her mother, and most importantly, herself.”

*Trigger Warning- The trailer contains sexual content and struggles with sexuality and identity.*

Maddie Ziegler, now 21 years old, started her career in 2011 when she first appeared in a dance reality show Dance Moms that had a successful run of 5 years. She has also appeared in several music videos, has had guest roles in T.V. shows and films, and also has a modeling career.

Blue Fox Entertainment is set to distribute the film in the US, with the theatrical release set for February 2, 2024.
