Colin Jost and Michael Che recognize that St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Sunday this year and Leap Year is to blame for skipping the celebration on a Saturday! Colin isn’t a fan, so he came up with a plan! It’s a very made-up (but very official) new holiday.
The SNL “Weekend Update” duo has partnered with Jameson Irish Whiskey to promote “St. Patrick’s Eve,” including a countdown celebration they’ll be hosting in Times Square on Saturday, March 16. PEOPLE has the full story!
