HAPPY PRIDE WEEKEND!

La Crosse Pride is finally here! There are two big events: Friday’s La Crosse Pride Pageant and Saturday’s free Pride in the Park.

Shannon Raney, Executive Director of The Center: 7 Rivers LGBTQ Connection, came in to talk about both events, and how the non-profit supports our community:

Previously known as So You Think You Can Drag, the La Crosse Pride Pageant is back! Come celebrate Pride weekend, kicking it off Friday night with highlighting new and upcoming performers! The La Crosse Pride Pageant is The Center: 7 Rivers LGBTQ Connection’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
Doors open at 6pm, show begins at 7pm. 18+ only, cash bar available (21+) in the Uptown Loft at Capella Performing Arts Center.
Want to support a contestant? Write their name down in the ticket section. Any tickets with their name go towards their fundraising total! VIP is sold out but you can still get GA Pageant tickets HERE and RSVP on Facebook HERE!

Saturday’s Pride in the Park is a FREE family-friendly from 11a-6p in Riverside Park. There will be vendors, food, entertainment on the bandshell, children’s activities and more for everyone!
