Come watch local celebrities eat progressively spicier wings, while following along in the audience! Following last year’s sold out debut, Not Hot Ones returns to the Root Note Thursday May 16th, 2026. The event is a joint fundraiser for The Center: 7 Rivers LGBTQ Connection and Black Leaders Acquiring Collective Knowledge.
Laura Abellera and Alec Lass, Board Members of The Center, came in to talk about the event and talked Ballzer into trying some hot sauce and answering questions:
The host will be interviewing local community members as they eat progressively spicier wings. Come for the entertainment, food and fun! Tickets get you 10 wings, a small variety of sauces and entertainment. A vegan option will be available as well as a cash bar. Additional sauces will be available to purchase throughout the event.

$50 VIP Ticket (front row seats, t-shirt from one of the participating orgs, bottle of hot sauce, served first, 10 wings, limited sauces, with additional surprises!)
