HEY, WE WON AN AWARD!

Have you ever heard of the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association?  Didn’t think so.  Well, it’s kind of like the Oscars for all radio and television broadcasters in Wisconsin.  There were a record number of entries this year with over 1,700 (so it took a loooooong time).  They invite the top 3 places from each category to attend the awards gala, where they announce 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places and give out the awards. 

When Ballzer and I got the news that we were in the top 3 for “Best Morning Show,” we couldn’t believe it!  We didn’t even care what place we got.  If we’re being honest; I think we were more excited that we were getting a fancy delicious meal, a hotel stay in Madison with our significant others, and I got an excuse to wear a sparkly dress from Charlotte’s Bridal (like I needed an excuse).  Honestly, we were blown away by the fact that we were in the top 3!   

We ended up with 3rd place for Best Morning Show in Wisconsin.  We are very honored and we couldn’t be more happy to accept the award.  This was such a fun experience.  It was the first time we had ever submitted anything for these awards.  We would also like to say congrats to our friend Ken Cooper, from our sister station Classic Hits 94.7, for his 1st place wins in commercial work.  And also to Brad Williams and the crew at WIZM 1410 for their 2nd and 3rd place wins in various categories.  What a great night and what a great job we have!  #Lucky
