DAHL AUTOMOTIVE’S “FILL THE TRUCK” FOR HUNGER TASK FORCE

Written by on November 4, 2017

Dahl Automotive, in both La Crosse and Onalaska, is promoting a “Fill the Truck” food drive during their “SAVE BIG BUCKS SALES EVENT”. From November 1-November 18, both locations will accept non-perishable food items and cash donations to help feed their neighbors in need.

Five generations of the Dahl family have influenced the automobile industry for over 100 years. Dahl Automotive is the eighth oldest Ford dealer in the nation under continuous family ownership. This has been made possible through years of guest loyalty, which stems from a constant focus on the guest’s complete satisfaction with our products and services.

“Dahl has been part of this community for five generations and we’re proud to be able to help an organization that is so instrumental in serving our community,” said Tyler Dahl, VP Strategic Initiatives, Dahl Automotive La Crosse, WI.

The Hunger Task Force, La Crosse’s only FREE and LOCAL Food Bank collects food throughout the region and distributes to local food programs. It currently serves over 95 meal sites and food pantries in La Crosse, Vernon, Trempealeau, Monroe, and Houston Counties. In 2016, 1.4 million pounds of food were recovered through donations and food drives for free distribution to its network of partner food pantries and community meal sites in our area.
