Sadly, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend suffered the loss of their baby at 20 weeks. Chrissy shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram back in September. As part of their healing process, and because they’re truly amazing people, John and Chrissy have teamed up with Ronald McDonald House Charities for a new initiative. The Ronald McDonald House Charities’ mission is to “create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families”. Here’s the cool thing…you can be part of it too!
From now through the end of the year, McDonald’s will give $100 in your name to Ronald McDonald’s House Charities. Here’s what you do. Post a pic or video making the RMHC heart symbol (or another type of supportive message) to Instagram, Twitter, TikTok or Facebook using the hashtag #HereForRMHC. This is a 5 year commitment of $100 million!
In an exclusive interview with Good Morning America, Chrissy explained “As long as you care for children, there’s nothing else that you do aside from be a part of this initiative,” Teigen said. “Because this is bipartisan — loving your children, wanting the best for your children and wanting to keep families together is insanely important to us.”
