What They Should Name Facebook Instead

Written by on October 20, 2021

Late Tuesday night, Facebook announced they would be changing their name sometime next week. And when it comes to changes to the social media site, I’m sure it won’t be met with vast amounts of criticism (I’m looking at you, Current Facebook Desktop Layout.) and a good amount of just being dunked on.

It’s not clear whether or not the news of Facebook purposefully not tamping down on misinformation and knowingly being harmful to teen girls has anything to do with the change in branding.

You can read the full story here.

The new name has been a widely guarded secret within the company with not many employees knowing what they’ll call themselves, but I’m proposing we call it:

WhatAreYouAngryAboutToday.com

I’d say that accurately describes 95 percent of the content on the site. “Want to keep up to date on what the guy you sat next to in sophomore English class is mad about? Join WhatAreYouAngryAboutToday.com”

“Want to read absurd opinions your friends and neighbors have about absolutely everything, all the time? WhatAreYouAngryAboutToday.com”
