PAUL RUDD IS PEOPLE’S SEXIEST MAN ALIVE 2021- THIS IS WHY

Last week, the NY Post, and several news outlets, reported that Chris Evans had swept the title of the Sexiest Man Alive. That must have been a decoy to throw us off. 52-year-old actor, Paul Rudd has officially been announced as People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2021.
Paul appeared on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, to announce his newest title, and it was excellent!
The first time I remember seeing Paul Rudd was in 1995. He played Josh in the movie Clueless, alongside Alicia Silverstone. He’s been in a lot of rom-coms and was on the TV show, Friends from 2002 to 2004. Paul has a LONG list of TV shows and movie credits to his career, and one of his biggest roles to date is Antman. This month Paul Rudd is teaming up with Will Ferrell for the new Apple TV+ series The Shrink Next Door and he also appears in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, both begin Friday, November 19.
Paul’s wife was the only person he told ahead of the announcement. “She was stupefied,” he told People. “But you know she was very sweet about it. After some giggling and shock, she said ‘Oh, they got it right.’ And that was very sweet. She was probably not telling the truth, but what’s she going to say?” Even with all the fame; Paul insists he’s most happy at home with his wife of 18 years, Julie, 53, and their kids Jack, 17, and Darby, 12.
Now that he is The Sexiest Man Alive, Paul said, “I’m hoping now that I’ll finally be invited to some of those sexy dinners with Clooney and Pitt and Jordan,” he says. “And I figure I’ll be on a lot more yachts. I’m excited about expanding my yachting life. I think this is going to help me become more inward and mysterious. And I’m looking forward to that.”
