UW-L’S MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS OPENS THIS WEEKEND

Written by on October 12, 2022

The University of Wisconsin – La Crosse Department of Theatre and Dance will present Agatha Christie’s
murder mystery thriller, Murder on the Orient Express, adapted by Ken Ludwig. Murder on the Orient Express will
show at 7:30 p.m. on October 14-15 & 20-22 and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m. on October 16 & 23 in Toland
Theatre, Center for the Arts, on the corner of 16th and Vine Streets.

Director Greg Parmeter joined the Z93 Morning Buzz to talk about the fun:

Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for
the time of year, but by the morning it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his
compartment, stabbed eight times, his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, the
passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer—in case he or she decides to strike again.
