LAX LIBRARY’S FREE CARNIVAL SUNDAY AND SUMMER PROGRAMS!
Written by Ballzer on June 5, 2026
Y’all, the LIBRARY! It’s just the best. The La Crosse Public Library is free, family-friendly, and has a tremendous amount of resources, programs, activities, and yes, chainsaws. The library’s programming spans all ages with things for babies, kids, teens, and adults!
Annie and Bill came in to talk about the annual Summer Reading Kick-Off Carnival this Sunday, Northside Library Pop-ups, Free Pool Storytimes, Bug World, the Create Lab, Teen Book Bingo, and so much more! I was also today year’s old when I learned LPL has Free Wisconsin State Park passes while they last 😉
Start your summer at La Crosse Public Library’s annual Summer Reading Kick-Off Carnival. Families can enjoy bounce houses, face painting, games, and more– plus activities hosted by community partners! It’s the perfect way to celebrate the start of the season while getting excited about FREE library programming all summer long! For all ages.
They recently remodeled, adding more spaces for public use, and have so many free programs, in addition to the resources and activities that most people know about them.
You can always volunteer or make an online donation to the library to support their programming, grab something off their Amazon Wishlist or Merch, and become a member of the Friends of the La Crosse Library. It’s only $15 a year for an individual or $30 for a family, and an excellent way to support!
