THE 2023 150 BEST SMALL TOWNS IN AMERICA, TWO WISCONSIN TOWNS MAKE LIST

Over the last few years, small towns have become popular vacation destinations. Family Destinations Guide polled 3,000 families and just released their list of the 150 best small towns in the country.
Topping the list was the small town of Holualoa, Hawaii, which listed their population at just under 3,000. They didn’t give many details as to why it’s such a popular spot. But it may have a little something with it being in Hawaii.
Three towns in Minnesota made the list: New Ulm at 90, Walker at 98th and Medina at 107. Three in Iowa: Winterset at 88, Pella at 141 and Decorah made the list at 126.
Surprisingly enough, even with an abundance of small towns, Wisconsin made the list with only two: Sister Bay ranked 69 and Stockholm at 106.
Now, I’ve never been to Stockholm, Wisconsin but a small town that on the banks of Lake Superior makes sense. And Sister Bay? It’s on Door County. It should be listed way higher. It’s lovely and way worth the drive. Check out the full list here.
