8.2 MILLION VIEWERS TUNE IN HBO’S “THE LAST OF US” SEASON FINALE

According to a press release, HBO’s latest hit “The Last of Us” brought in 8.2 million viewers for it’s season finale on Sunday. The post-apocalyptic series averaged about 30 million over the first six episodes making it the highest rated series on HBOMax’s streaming platform
If you’re unfamiliar, it’s based on a popular video game series of the same title where a mutated fungus turns people into cannibals. But really, the underlying theme of the show explores the relationships people forge in a trying time that the characters were thrown into.
Being a fan of the video games, I’m very happy with how the show turned out. It was thought provoking. Intense at times and even mixed in some humor. If you haven’t checked it out yet, it’s highly recommended. All episodes of “The Last Of Us” are available now on HBOMax.
