Over the last few years, we’ve seen a resurgence of Pop Punk. Giant music festivals. Legendary bands like Blink 182 reuniting and going on tour.
But a staple of the 2000’s pop punk boom is calling it a day.
Tuesday, Sum 41 frontman, Deryck Whibley announced that after 27 years as a band, they’ll be hanging it up after a final album release and world tour.
The band is currently on a European tour followed by a trek across the US this summer with Simple Plan and The Offspring. They’ll take the stage on August 29th at American Family Insurance Amphitheater in Milwaukee.
