Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie will be returning as judges for another season of American Idol. The host will be Ryan Seacrest. American Idol is set to return to ABC in early 2024.
Sign up for virtual auditions begins August 2. If you’re 15 or older, YOU could audition to become the next American Idol! This is what you need to know. Auditions start on August 2 with Idol Across America, where anyone in the world can sing for an American Idol producer. Contestants will also be given the chance to audition under their genre for the first time. In the August 2 audition, the first 700 hopefuls can sign up for a VIP spot before anyone else in the “First 700” event. Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin all fall on August 28th.
