Fyre Festival 2 Set For Spring 2025, No Artists Booked Yet

Written by on September 9, 2024

It’s probably fine, right?

The chaos of the first Fyre Festival (if you want to call it a festival) was not only well documented in the headlines, there were two full length documentaries chronicling the doomed event.

And Billy McFarland, promoter of Fyre, went to jail for fraud.

But that clearly wasn’t even enough to keep people from buying presale tickets to the latest iteration of the “luxury” music festival.

According to Consequence:

“Fyre Festival II is happening April 25, 2025, so we’re seven and a half months away,” McFarland said. “We have a private island off the coast of Mexico in the Caribbean, and we have an incredible production company who’s handling everything from soup to nuts.” The convicted fraudster added that he is aiming for 3,000 people to attend the three-day festival, which has tickets priced from $1,400 to a $1.1 million VIP package that’s touted as including luxury yachts, scuba diving, and island hopping.

But who’s playing? Well, no one’s booked yet:

We haven’t booked any talent for Fyre II,” he said. “It’s not going to be just music — for example, karate combat. We’re in talks with them to set up a pit to have, like, live fights at Fyre Festival II.”

“Karate combat”. Yeah, this thing isn’t happening
