This is how we all felt after getting out of quarantine! These girls expressed their emotions with such excitement, and it’s the sweetest thing ever!
First graders Julia and Luna met via virtual school during the pandemic, and they finally had the chance to meet in person! TODAY has the full story. “To celebrate Julia’s birthday, Luna recently surprised her in a local park, and a TikTok video of that meeting shows how delightful the moment was for both girls.”

6 long months of talking online, sharing their daily stories, and getting to know one another. They even had the chance to sit down on the TODAY show and share their story. So cute.
We can all relate to the online aspect of life during the pandemic, and some are still communicating this way as a “new normal”. The fact that these two friends got to meet, AND SHARE A HUG, is one of the best things we’ve seen on the internet in a while!
