“I’m Not Just A Fan. I’m An Owner”

For the sixth time in team history, the Green Bay Packers offered their fans a chance to buy stock in the team. The $300 stock went on sale early Tuesday where they sold 33,000 shares in the first three hours.

If you haven’t snagged your share yet, the Packers are giving potential shareholders to buy in until February 25th or until they run out of the 300,000 shares.

It’s the first time since 2011 the shares went on sale and the team raked in a cool 67 million dollars.

Now there’s always talk of what the point of buying these stock really is. Now, the shares don’t appreciate in value, but the funds go to making improvements to Lambeau Field, including concourse renovations and new digital video scoreboards.
