THERE ARE WORSE PLACES TO BE STRANDED, I GUESS

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, about 60 pub patrons found themselves stranded for THREE DAYS in Yorkshire Dales, England. The Tan Hill Inn is located about 270 miles north of London and customers were stuck due to a snowstorm that had blocked roads.

But staff kept the folks occupied with movies, quiz competitions and rounds of karaoke. They were also entertained by the Oasis cover band that was performing the night of the storm. They eventually were able go home after the roads were cleared and one patron declared that she didn’t want to leave. (You have to think that place had to smell terrible after day one though)

This got me thinking as to what cover band I’d like to be stuck with in a bar for that amount of time. And the answer is clear. A Neil Diamond cover band. Hands down.
